Coconut Crab
Coconut Crab is the humorously catchy project from Axel Øksby. Taking influence from years of playing heavy technical guitar and a decade of nintendo gaming, Axel started his project in his tiny Oslo bedroom. By uploading short guitar clips to Instagram, the new project slowly started taking shape. After touring with Norwegian indie pop artist Jakob Ogawa for 4 years, Axel made the decision to focus on his own music.
With loads of new musical experience under his guitar strap, Axel started taking sound influences from his down time activity: Super Smash Bros. Here he got new ideas to add another layer to his music, which makes it light, fun and surprising.
